Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the balloon basket and within a 10-meter radius of the balloon envelope, basket, and trailer. We recommend dressing appropriately for ground-level temperatures. Since hot air balloons move with the wind, there is usually no noticeable wind in the basket. Additionally, the balloon burners emit considerable heat. It may only feel cooler after landing on the ground. If you're concerned about getting cold, a light scarf might be useful.

It is important to wear full-body clothing made of cotton fabric during the flight. Since the burners generate heat, we suggest bringing a hat or cap for sun protection. High heels are not allowed. The most comfortable option is sturdy sneakers or ankle boots. More details can be found in the service regulations. Service rules

During spring, summer, and early autumn, hot air balloon flights take place early in the morning (1–2 hours after sunrise) and in the evening (1–2 hours before sunset), typically between 5 AM – 8 AM and 6 PM – 9 PM.

A chase vehicle follows the hot air balloon and transports the balloon and passengers back to the launch site after landing.

Hot air balloons fly with the wind, making it difficult to predict the exact route and landing location. The pilot selects a suitable landing site, typically an open field with convenient access.

The pilot cannot control the balloon’s direction since it always moves with the wind. The best way to ensure a scenic flight is by carefully selecting the launch site and considering wind direction. Our team always aims to fly over landmarks like Trakai Castle, the rooftops of Vilnius Old Town, or any destination of your choice

Hot air balloons depend on wind direction. We choose the launch site, and if it aligns with wind conditions, we can consider your preferred location. However, the landing site can never be predetermined.

In Vilnius and other major Lithuanian cities, air traffic control (airport tower) regulates hot air balloon flight altitude, which can range from 200 to 1,500 meters. In other areas without nearby airports, pilots choose the altitude freely, ranging from one meter to one kilometer.
