After state authorities severely restricted flights over Vilnius, Trakai became the new hot air balloon capital of Lithuania: the beautiful lake area of Trakai district and, of course, the Trakai Island Castle itself easily make the flights some of the most beautiful in all of Lithuania. Of course, if you still prefer the city of Vilnius, given the right day and weather conditions, a hot air balloon flight over the capital is certainly possible.
